The practical work is also there in Applied Mathematics. In the case of practical, there is not much difference between class XI and XII. The practical work which was there in standard XI is the same as the class XII. The only thing that a student will study is the graphs that are related to the exponential function, demand, and supply function in MS Excel and to study the nature of function at various levels. There will also be a graph of maxima and minima.

CBSE had introduced several projects. The educational institute will decide which one will be suitable for the students. Other than project works, this is also assessment work. The total marks for the project and assessment are 10+10 marks. So, the total marks for Applied Mathematics are 100.
